Talk about climate change: book banning has become

the hot library topic!

At the inaugural AISL Fall Professional Development event you'll hear from authors, including Amy Sarig King, and an editor about how challenges and banning has affected their writing and marketing, and from expert colleagues who are navigating parent, Board, faculty, and student concerns/challenges.  There will also be breakout group conversations to build your support network and get ideas about strengthening your library's policies.

The afternoon will end in conversation with the #1 New York Times bestselling author Jodi Picoult and inaugural Anna Quindlen Writer in Residence at Barnard College of Columbia University, Jennifer Finney Boylan, as they discuss their newest novel, Mad Honey. As part of your registration fee, all registrants will received a signed copy of Mad Honey.
